New Pf Challan Generation Using Online Facility. - TXT Download

Dear Seniors ,
State bank of India rejected my PF challan for the month of march asking for new format. We have online PFINDIA registration but dont know how to create the challan online.
I found one ECR option where it is asking to upload some text file.
Please help me how can I create text format file which can be uploaded online to create new PF challan. Its very urgent .
Please guide me...

Hi,
First of all creat userid and Password on PF website there is a option E-sewa.
make a file in excell 2007 with the given formate in e-sewa option.
save the above file in CSV formate
after saving file in CSV formate open it in text file and remove header line from txt file.
replace all "," to #~#
final download it in your home page which is being created by you.
then you can generate challan.

my organisation is edli exempted one. We pay lic yearly one for edli scheme.while generation of challan will it omit a/c no 21 or we have to take up this issue to pf because while going through ecr format there is no details about edli

Creating an excel becomes too hectic.. Instead download the E-Return tools, install it on ur system. Update the employer data, update the monthly data and generate the ECR file through and upload it using E-sewa.. This is the most easiest way.. And this is compulsory as well because later we need to file 3A 6A, 12A, etc through this E-returns tools..

For EDLI u need not ask the PF dept. Under E-return tools there is a option for EDLI exemption. U need to first Check on it and than generate the ECR text and upload.. And keep the EDLI column blank and submit..

Please see the attachment. I created the text format as guided by you but still it is showing error on downloading . Error line 001. Please let me know what is wrong in the format.

I could find there are .(dots) at the names and in the contributions. All the contribution should be rounded to near rupee. You shall send excel sheet. so let me check and revert

Have u installed E-return tools.. My suggestion is u better go for this tools, this will make ur work easy n safe... creating excell and converting the same in text will give u errors, but generating files through e-returns tools for upload is easy n error free.
