Can anybody help me what is the minimum no of years service required to get Gratuity benefit?

Dear Sir,
Five years completion of service is a must as of now. In Tamilnadu/Madras State 4years and 240 days completion in 5th year will be eligible for gratuity as per the
Madras High Court verdict.

Gurumuthy and Saurabh has cleared the point, it is 4.8 i.e. 4 years and 240 days, will make employee eligible for gratuity.
Yes notice period is covered under this time line.

Dear all,
Completion of 5 years of sevice is required for payment of gratuity and in each year working days should be 240 days.
