Is ESI contribution calculated on overtime wages under The ESI Act, 1948?

EXP : ESI FIXED - 21000.00 BASIC - 14500(BASI) + 6000(HRA) TOTAL ESI FIXED -20500.00 (CORRECT ) OT PER HOUR CALUCULATE = 20500/26/8=98.56 & NO OF OT HOUR WORKED=40 HOUR - TOTAL OT AMT =3942.00
TOTAL OT HOUR CALULATER- 3942/98.56/2=20.00 (OT PER HOUR) 19 HOURS THIS OT CALCULATION IS CORRECT SIR

You can pay overtime wages on the basis wages. If that is taken, then it will be Rs 139 per hour as overtime wages (ie, 14500 divided by 26, divided by 8, multiplied by 2) and that multiplied by the total overtime hours, say 40 hours, would give you Rs 5577 as overtime wages.
