Need Help with New PF ECR File Format in Excel for Registration and Contributions?

Please find the ECR Excel file format as per EPF guidelines. When entering and uploading the ECR return, please read and follow the instructions specified in the ECR_ForEmployers_FileStructure.pdf file.

Enter the data in mm/dd/yyyy format; it automatically converts to the required format, i.e., dd/mm/yyyy. I have already uploaded the online return using this file format. FYI.

We have entered the member ID as PF A/C no i.e. - 3. It is correct as per your sample list, but an error appears in the same column. Please help us.

I have uploaded the ECR text format online and approved it. However, there are some changes that need to be rectified in wages. I have submitted a "Request ECR rejection" for this purpose. Can I now upload the new text file for the same month of March? Your urgent assistance is greatly appreciated as I need to make a payment promptly.

Queries Related to PF

I have some queries related to PF. If possible, kindly revert as this will be helpful for everyone.

1. Can we calculate the arrears on EPS? If yes, then should the maximum limit of 6500 be considered or not?
2. Is there any statutory document that will explain the queries related to arrear calculation?
3. In the Electronic Challan format, separate columns are provided to display the PFArrWages, Arr-EE-PF, Arr-ER-PF, Arr-EE-EPS, but there is no column to display the EPS-Arr-Wages.
4. Can EPS contribution be more than 541 (due to the arrears calculation)?

I am eagerly waiting for the replies.

I am attaching herewith the Excel file, which will automatically generate the required ECR file for uploading to the site. This is a macros-based file created by Datacure. Just fill in the required data and click on the "Create ECR File" button.

In the new format, there is a column for Gross wages: If an employee's Gross is 22000 and his basic is 9000, HRA is 4500, CCA is 2250, Conveyance is 1600, and special allowance is 4650. According to the new format, what amount should appear in the column of EPF wages? Please help me out immediately.

Follow the steps to upload the ECR v2.0. Have attached screenshots as well.
Step 1: Login as an ‘Admin' under new PF portal. https://unifiedportal-emp.epfindia.gov.in/epfo/
Step 2: Go to ‘Payments' & Click ‘ECR/Return Filing'
Step 3: Click ‘ECR Upload'
Step 4: Upload the ECR file and Submit
