Hi Rao, I have transferred my PF amount from my previous employer to my current employer. However, I have noticed that only the PF amount has been transferred. Could you please advise me on how to track the EPS money if I choose not to withdraw it?

Tracking EPS Money

According to my knowledge, the EPF department will issue two cheques - one for EPF and the other for EPS. The typical time gap between the issuance of these cheques is 10 to 15 days. If the process takes this amount of time, there is no issue. However, if it exceeds 15 days, you may need to discuss this delay with your HR personnel or the EPF department.

If your service is below 10 years, your EPS money will be returned; otherwise, they will provide a scheme certificate.

Thank you for the information. Today, I went to the RPFC office to inquire about the EPS amount. The RPFC officer informed me that in my case, the PF amount has been requested for transfer, so they have transferred the EPS amount to the RPFC office where my current employer's account is being handled. The EPS amount will not be transferred to the current employer; it will go to the RPFC office where the employer's account is being handled.

Confirming EPS Transfer

Is there any way to confirm that my EPS amount has been successfully transferred to the new location of the RPFC office? I have the claim ID and the new account number.

As you contacted the previous RPFC and obtained information, to confirm the transfer of EPS, you should also contact the current RPFC.
