Confirmation Pending - Pls Guide - Pdf Download

Dear Sai & Sacheen Sir,
After a long wait last week i got Confirmation letter but all in vain. In my appointment letter by dept. was XXX. Now in Confirmation they mentioned my dept as YYY, which not even related to our branch. Our company has more than 30 branches and monthly Pay for employee's is above 1 C. yet it happened. As i already told about my Senior now how to rectify it.
Please guide - shall i contact Hr or wait for my Senior to take step.

First speak to your senior on mistake of department, and if he is not agreeing on that then approach HR department. Please keep this all in writing (e-mail) so that you can have proof if something goes wrong.
I am surprise even HR was not bother to confirm you since last 16 months or why they have not ask your senior on this front. That means HR might be aware of this thing. the confirmation letter is very very important you just refer THE CONFERMENT OF PERMANENT STATUS ACT,1981
it is clearly mentioned that after 480days one should get the permanency in the company for that FORM 1 is maintained and FORM 2 is submitted to inspector of factories.

It must have ben a clerical mistake. don't worry. You can approach the department(HR) which issued the confirmation letter and bring the error to their notice. they will rectify it.

Do the following things to get your confirmation letter.
Try to sit with your boss in lunch time or tea time but dont discuss that confirmation matter.
Leave the matter out of your mind for 15 days.
Finish all the tasks on time & direct report to him that you have finished the task.
Be Happy & give your 100% to your job.

At last i found that my Dept. was changed into dummy Dept by the Senior, so he can terminate at required time. That too happened but with help of one genuine manager GM intervened and restricted the manager not to involve in my work.
Thank God, there are good people also there who can support Entry Level employees from bad superiors.
