Hi,

MIS report is known as Management Information System regarding the Manpower status of a particular month, place, and overall. It helps the Management in decision-making, like identifying the reasons for resignation, areas with high attrition, and other factors crucial for decision-making. With the help of MIS, you can prepare various reports such as annual attrition, region-wise attrition, region-wise manpower, graphical representation of regions' manpower status, and more.

You can prepare the same at your end. It will assist you in creating other formats as well.

I am describing the contents sheet-wise:

First Sheet -

Details of employees

a. E. Code b. Name of employee

c. Date of birth d. Designation e. CTC

f. Address for communication

g. Permanent address h. Contact number

i. Blood group j. Maximum qualification

k. Extra qualification l. Total Experience

Second Sheet -

Salary structure

In this sheet, write down the complete salary structure and include a column for the salary after any revision.

Third Sheet -

New Joinees

In this sheet, list the names of New joinees of that month with details like CTC, Designation, DOB, etc.

Fourth Sheet -

Resigned employees

In this sheet, list the names of employees who resigned during that particular month with details like name, designation, date of joining, date of resignation, last working day.

Fifth Sheet -

Attrition rate

I hope this information will be helpful for you.

Hi,

A simple monthly MIS for HR contains the following information:

Main Sheet:

1st column - grade-wise employee numbers at the beginning of the month

2nd column - new joinings during the month in those grades

3rd column - separations (i.e. resignations/terminations/promotions) during the month

4th column - balance at the end of the month

Support sheets:

1. Statement of new joinings - grade-wise giving emp. code, name, grade, designation, division/department, date of joining

2. Statement of resignation giving emp. code, name, grade, dept., desgn., date of joining, date of leaving, reasons for leaving

3. Statement of promotions giving emp. code, name, dept., desgn., date of joining, date of promotion, old grade, new grade etc.

Similarly, other sheets can be made for other divisions of the organization, if any.

The format of HRMIS for top management is altogether different, covering many other details to facilitate decision-making.

Please clarify what level/kind of report you are looking for.

Sangeeta
