I think you are using MS Office 2007, and this sheet is created in a lower version. When you open this sheet, Excel will show a warning message. Click "Yes," and the sheet will open. Then, save it again in the higher version, i.e., 2007.

No doubt, it has a good effect. Why don't you add wage/salary calculation in another sheet? Please update and attach it, as it would be more useful to all. You can also include the total number of days along with leave, which are referred to as payable days in the month.

Thanks

Updates Made

As per your suggestion, I have made some updates in the sheet. Now it can automatically calculate the salary of an employee.

Transitioning to Computer-Generated Attendance Registration

How can manual attendance registration be replaced with computer-generated registration? Does it require authorization from the government authority? If yes, please let me know the procedure for obtaining an exemption from manual attendance registration.

The muster roll format is available in the Factories Rules and also in the Shops and Establishment Act. Please follow the same.

In the attendance sheet, when a user marks their attendance by pressing "shift+control+semicolon," it registers the timing automatically. I am trying to write a code so that immediately after registering the attendance, only that column should get protected. Can someone help me?

Very useful, but what about paid days? How can we show the difference between 30 days and 31 days?
