Important EPFO Update: How to Secure Family Pension for Missing Pensioners

I would like to share an important notification from EPFO regarding Family Pension. According to this notification, Family Pension can be granted to the next eligible member in the family in the case of missing family pensioners. The notification is attached along with the Indemnity Bond that needs to be provided. (Format Enclosed)

In my opinion, the above notification is not applicable to employees under the Employees' Pension Scheme, 1995. It is applicable to the family members of employees of the EPF Department and not to the employees of establishments covered under the EPF Act.
