Sample Letter -Amendment Extension Probation Period

I need to prepare amendment letter for my staff. The extension of probation period was wrongly stated in her letter.

Sub ;- Probatin period-correction
Please refer to the letter dated.......extending your probation by...........months We inform you that the perod of extension has erroneously been mentioned as ......months. Your probation in fact has been extended by ........months.You are advised to note the correction and acknowledge the recipt of this letter.
