Esi Monthly Due Deposit Date - Pdf Download

Hi!
We have received an interest and damage note from ESI as we have deposited our monthly ESI contribution by cheque on 21st and the cheques got cleared within 2-3 days.
Just wanted to know whether monthly ESI contribution is to be deposited to bank by cheque by 21st or the cheque should be cleared by the bank by 21st.

Dear friend
The ESI as well as the PF authorities will take the cheque clearance date only not the deposited date. Hence it is better to deposite the cheque 2 days before 21st
