EPFO Goes Digital: How Will the New Online Services Impact Your Business?

The Employees' Provident Fund office will be online starting from 1st April 2012. Here are the benefits:

- No paper return needs to be prepared or submitted to EPFO.
- No requirement to submit other returns such as Form 5/10/12A, 3A, and 6A.
- Employers will receive instant confirmation of payment through SMS.
- The contribution will be credited to the members' accounts on a monthly basis.
- Employers can view the annual accounts slip for the accounting year 2011-12 online.
- For previous years, employers can request annual slips through this portal.

I just want to know if EPFO is now available online. Could you please guide us on how to operate in the online format? Similar to ESIC, where we enter the wages and then generate the challan.

Where can I view the annual accounts slip for the accounting year 2011-12 online?

To access the EPFO site, go to the employer column and click on "Online ECR/Challan Submission." Next, click on "Employer e-Sewa." Then, enter your user ID and password obtained from the PF office. Once the site opens, you will see a download option from which you can download your annual account slip.
