It is good that you are doing your Master's in Human Resource Management, and it seems to me that your specialization is Industrial Relations & Labour Law. You just need to go through your study material/books first, where you have already been provided with the content/topics and much more, as well as the guidelines to perform your project work on the same by your University/Institute/Mentor/Supervisor. The very first thing I want you to do is visit the official website of the Industrial Relations Division, Govt. of India Ministry of Labour to know everything about it. By doing this, you can get the rules and regulations and everything which will help you to understand this and in your work.
Secondly, it is you who is going to work on a project for a particular subject (IR) and must select a topic wherein you have good and strong knowledge and interest. It is really important to recognize this need before going further. Also, IR is itself a topic, but you need to know the culture and work of a Chemical Industry so that you can perform your task well.
First, you can study your subject (Industrial Relations & Labour Law) to know the conditions, requirements, and laws related to this.
Secondly, you need to make a search to know and learn about the work style, conditions of a Chemical Industry, and everything related to this.
