New to Construction? How Do You Keep Track of Site Profit & Loss Accounts?

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are working for the first time in the construction line. I want to know how to maintain the Site P/L Account because the construction work on this site will be completed in the month of April 2012. I am already aware of this matter because my owner will definitely ask me about the position of the site.
