Is a Muster Roll Required for Shops Act Establishments Not Covered by Standing Orders?

Maintaining a muster roll or attendance register is compulsory for establishments registered under the Factory Act. If the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act does not apply to establishments covered under the Bombay Shops and Establishments Act, then under which act is it necessary to keep a Muster Roll (attendance register) for employees' in and out times?

Standing Orders Requirement

Standing orders are required if you are employing more than 100 employees in any case.

If not registered under the Factory Act, then you need to register under the Shop & Establishment Act and maintain your records as per the State Shop Act.

Regarding the Maintenance of Muster Roll/Attendance

Which labor law applies when the Shops and Establishment Act is applicable? Provisions for Muster Roll, leaves, etc. (service rules) are enforced. However, in establishments with less than 75 employees not covered by the Shops and Establishment Act, which act mandates the maintenance of the muster roll?
