Company's 5th Anniversary - ideas to make it a memorable one?

Dear All, We would be completing our company's 5th year in August 2012. Hence, we are planning to celebrate it in a grand way. Can you please share some ideas to make it a memorable one.

2 if you want lunch and some fun u have a n option pool side
there are many gaming centres where u can book for 500 people , food, fun , drinks if require

-Can give trophy/certifcate to those employees who are with company since 5 years.
-Can organize quiz competion : Questions related to company's work profile
-Essay Competion - Topic : "My Company"
-Brief Report on Company's Achievemets.

try to arrange party in a hotel with lunch or dinner, with some rewards and recognition which is important

You take them out to a resort .
Have a small business presentation from the senior management gmt ppl(achievements of the company,future plans etc)
Have some outdoor fun-filled activities with prizes
Honor those who have been in the system fro a longtime
Award the key performers
Close with dinner
If possible give small gifts to all employees

Besides the above you can also plan to pull in the family members of your staff and make it a more grand event in open hall (lawn).
Also you can engage some event management team (Outsourced Vendors) to engage with lots of fun and Ideas.

In addition to the party, Give a personalized gift to each employee like a Parker pen with the company name and employee name.
The gift you get should have your name and the company name on it.
I am sure the employees will keep it through out their life.
ppl forget parties/outings very fast if they dont have anything worth keeping as a momento.

Apart from this u can also arrange some games & competition including family members of employees like drawing competition, poem writing, rangoli making for kids, for employees musical chair games etc. u can also fix one dress code on that day and can choose the MR & Ms. of the day.

Also it can be planned in some resorts. My current Organization had arranged a day outing for us in celebrity resorts and we planned for T-shirts with our company logo on it.
All the employees were so excited with the T-shirts and none of them missed on wearing it on the outing day
Its a Feel Good Factor for all the employees and also to the organisation to see the employees in a team culture- indirectly it is a way of motivating employees (mutual benefit).
