Need Help Crafting a Notice Period Extension Letter for Employees – Any Suggestions?

Hi, I am in need of a template or format for a Notice Period Extension letter to inform all our employees that their notice period will be extended from 15 days to 30 days. Kindly suggest or help. This would be a great help.

Put on the notice board that your notice period is extending for the purpose of retaining employees.

To The Departmental Heads/Section Heads, XYZ Company,

Sub: Increase of Notice Period - Termination of Contract of Service/Resignation

We invite the attention of all the employees presently in service of the company to clause/rule no... of XYZ Company Employees Service Rules/appointment letter whereby an employee can terminate the contract of service by serving a notice of 15 days. However, it has been decided by the company to increase the period of notice from 15 days to 30 days with immediate effect.

The Departmental Heads are requested to bring the contents of this circular to all the employees concerned and obtain their signature on the acknowledgment as a token of acceptance of the revised condition and forward the same to Manager-HR for records.

Acknowledgment:

I have gone through the contents of the circular no... dated... and hereby accept the revised notice period of 30 days.

Note: A copy of the circular should be displayed on the notice board.
