Professional Tax For New Joinee

Hi everyone..
I am confused about one thing regarding PT for new employees, We have 2 new employees in the month of February & as per my company accounts people the PT should be 300 for them too.
Therfore please advise.

For PT deduction year is taken as March to Feb
If any employees, throughout the year PT deducted will come to Rs. 2,400/-, then in his case only the PT for month of Feb should be Rs. 300/-
