Books For Preparation HR Competitive Exam

Please suggest some books that I should read for the preparation of competitive exams like NTPC and SAIL. Which section of HR do the questions focus on? Also, please share the NTPC exam format if anyone has it. Thank you so much in advance for your help and suggestions.

I have also taken the exams of GAIL, SAIL, MTNL, POWER GRID, BOB, IBPS (Specialist Officer). I have successfully passed the IBPS (Specialist Officer-HR) exam held in March 2012. The multiple choice questions asked in the exam can be challenging to locate in one place, requiring extensive searching.
