NEBOSH and OSHA Training Institutes Discussion: Certifications, Courses, and Online Options

Kindly explain institutes for obtaining the above certificate from India.

OSHA accredited courses were running in India, and cards were also issued after the completion of 10 hrs or 30 hrs in the General Industry/construction industry. Since 2011, the US government has passed the resolution that NO cards would be issued outside the US.

Hence, if any institute boasts about OSHA courses, please be sure that it is not valid (After 2011).

We have many good institutes for NEBOSH, but it will greatly depend on which course you are planning to take. Is it IGC or International Diploma? For the International Diploma, the institutes out there charge a hefty amount of fees. If you are planning to pursue the same, I will let you know about the institutes that charge less than a lakh Rs.

I am providing all this information as I have completed my OSHA course 511 and was planning to complete another course, i.e., 501, but have canceled it due to the resolution.

I have recently completed my International Diploma in a single sitting and am waiting for the project result.

Beware of false promises made by different institutes and don't fall prey.

Mr. Neeraj explained well, especially OSHA. He is right, but I am able to help you to do OSHA online for 30/10 hours. Please see the attached online training file. It's very affordable compared to attending regular classes; at the end of your course, they will send a certificate and card by mail, and a hard copy will be issued within 2 weeks after you receive your result.

That reminds me guys, help me please. How do you people find the OSHA 10HR, 30HR, 40HR, 48HR online courses? I want to do it. Is it valuable or not? Can one get a job with that certificate issued in the US with an ID and student transcript?

Thanks for sharing a booklet with us regarding IOSH. Actually it's better to take a class instead of online so you can discuss with your class mates, get new contacts etc..,,,,,, However the file which you shared was useful to our members who are preparing for IOSH. I had done mine in class I fell better than online courses. . .

Try to follow excellence rather than pursuing success. I have gone through the file uploaded by Mr. Ashok. In India, we have a similar or even better class conducted by the Central Labour Institute. Their office is in Sion, Mumbai. They offer a one-year full-time course called "Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety."
