Struggling to Track My PF Claim Status Online – Am I Entering the Details Wrong?

My PF claim was submitted by my previous employer (Mumbai) 20 days ago. I tried to check the claim status on the site http://www.epfindia.com under CLAIM STATUS INFORMATION, but I received information that no record was found.

PF Number Details

My PF No is "MH/46402/275". I tried using all office codes and the establishment number as 46420, and the account number as 275 (based on my PF number), but it was of no use.

Please help me in finding my PF claim status. Am I doing something wrong while entering the PF number? Please suggest.

It seems you are missing something, dear. Your EPF number is not correct; therefore, I would say that you must go through your salary slip with your previous employer first to get the exact EPF number. You mentioned that you were employed in Mumbai, but where exactly in Mumbai? There are five EPF offices under the range of Mumbai, such as Bandra, Madad, Thane, Vashi, and one more, and your EPF No. MH/46402/275 is missing the location, it seems to me. You have the Region Code, Establishment Code, and Employee Code, but the EPF Office Code is missing.

For example, MH (Region Code) / BAN (EPF Office Code) / ***** (Establishment Code) / *** (Employee Code). Go and check with your salary slip or your employer first.
