Understanding LTI and MTI

I want to know about the definitions of LTI and MTI. Also, I would like to understand how to calculate severity ranking and frequency rate.

Definitions of Lost Time Incident (LTI) and Medical Treatment Incident (MTI)

Lost Time Incident means any incident that results in a person being unable to perform their duty for one or more shifts (excluding the day of the incident).

Medical Treatment Incident means any incident that requires medical attention for the individual by a medical practitioner (including prescribed medication) other than onsite First Aid Treatment.
