I have gone through the PPT on HR. I have no better words except to say "excellent presentation". This would help the freshers to understand what is what in HR. Practicing HR functions in a professional manner is endless explorations. Many HR personnel exploit the situation in an unethical manner and defame the function. There is no dearth of rules, regulations, and laws to handle HR function. But the bottom line is "deal in a humane manner". One should never forget that the other person is also a human being. Dealing with personnel in totality is the key to HR. Of course, within limits as prescribed.

Once again, three kudos to you. Please keep it up.

Thank you very much, SatishG, for your appreciation. What you said is absolutely right. HR - Heart of business is a thought-provoking topic. I have worked as an HR in a sales organization where everything ends at BUSINESS, and the bottom line is profit. It is true that we HR professionals are supporters and have to support every member in the organization. However, sometimes HR is not given that much importance in the organization, which is true everywhere, although the intensity of the same varies from company to company.

Nevertheless, I am proud to be in this field, which is why I am here. I truly consider HR to be the Heart of the business. Without our support, the organization cannot function properly.

It is with the efforts of people like you that HR will get its rightful place in the corporate conundrum. HR today is marginalized. Most managements have no idea how to use their human resources. Most HR people do not know how to deal with such managements.

The PPT is a good brief on the role of HR in any industry. What all of us should remember is that these PPTs are just guides. The real test is to put it into practice with the heart and a sense of total belief in the strength of the HR role in the organization. This 'self-belief' is the key to success.

How better can we describe our job, which has always been vague and intangible, and also gets confused with so many other functions and their deliverables, especially one that is a business partner in HR. This presentation is a great starting point and is well conceptualized :)
