Should I Switch to a Consultancy Role for a Better HR Opportunity at an MNC?

jagadeesh167
I need advice about my career. I have an opportunity as an HR in an MNC manufacturing company, which is ten times better than my current company. However, I obtained this opportunity through a consulting firm, so I would have to work at that company with consultancy payroll rather than on the company's payroll where I am currently. Would changing from the company's payroll to the consultancy's be better for me? Will the experience at the MNC company be useful for my future career?

Please provide me with guidelines for my career path.

Thank you.

You have not written about your experience. There is nothing wrong with working on a consultancy payroll; your exposure will matter in the future. Hardly anybody is concerned about payroll, and you have to compromise on facilities.

Working in an MNC: A Great Opportunity

Working in an MNC is always considered a great opportunity. As far as being on the payroll of a consultancy firm is concerned, there is no harm, provided they offer you good facilities and variables (e.g., Provident fund, mediclaim, etc.). Also, cross-check if they are hiring you on a contract basis.

Hope this will help you. All the best.

Best Regards,
Rashi Shinde.

Hi, my studies were in HR-related fields. However, I am currently working in a different role. How can I get HR field jobs? Could anyone please provide guidelines on how to achieve a successful career path in HR? I don't want to compromise my experience in the HR domain.
