Feeling Overwhelmed with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Certification Tasks? Need Your Advice!

Presently, I am working as an Assistant Manager in the QA/QC department of a PUR/PIR sandwich panel manufacturing company. Our management has given me the extra responsibility of obtaining the certificates for ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, but I don't have much exposure in this field. Therefore, I am requesting all of you to help me in this regard.

Benefits of OHSAS 18001 Certification

Certification to OHSAS 18001 enables you to demonstrate high levels of occupational health and safety when bidding for international contracts, expanding locally to accommodate new business, or negotiating insurance premiums.

The environmental management standard lasts for three years and is subject to mandatory audits every year to ensure that you are still compliant. At the end of the three years, when you decide to retain the ISO 14001 EMS certification, you will be requested to complete a reassessment audit in order to receive the standard for an additional three years.
