Understanding PF Form 9
Form 9 is actually an employee information sheet and is very important to understand. It is not only the PF office's responsibility but also crucial for your records. You need to provide details of the employee in Form 9, such as the employee's name, father's name, date of joining (DOJ), date of leaving (DOL), date of birth (DOB), remarks, etc. Once you review Form 9, you will comprehend its significance. You must submit these details to the EPF office within 2-3 months and keep a copy of Form 9 for your company's reference. For any new hires or departing employees, you should submit Form 5 and Form 10 along with Form 12A. It is essential to regularly update Form 9 to maintain a complete employee record, including details of F-19 and 10C issuance.
Additionally, you can maintain this record in soft copy as well. For any further queries, please email me at [Email Removed For Privacy Reasons].
