I am from a service industry with a 90-member team. Many employees have not been given a confirmation letter here. I have been chasing the CEO, who has been asking, "Why do we require this letter?"
Reasons for Issuing a Confirmation Letter
1. A confirmed employee is eligible for special benefits of leave.
2. A confirmed employee has to serve a 30-day notice period.
3. It is necessary for any salary increment or designation hike.
4. ...
The CEO feels like everything is given to employees from day one (DOJ).
I would like to know, is a confirmation letter required for these aspects, or do we have other parameters to issue a confirmation letter?
Regards,
Jaffar
