Orissa State Labor Laws

Dear Sir /Madam,
Is there any separate state labor laws for Orissa. If it is please post the minimum wages , ESI Act, Maternity benefit and gratuity act.

Minimum wages act varies from state to state. So please refer to your area labour inspector. He will give advice on the same.
As ESI, EPF, Gratuity & Maternity are central acts it remains same through out india

All the Acts referred by you are Central Acts but so far as Minimum Wages Act, Gratuity Act and Maternity Benefit Act are concerned, the state governments can frame rules under each Act which are applicable to establishments located in the respective States. Therefore get hold of the Bare Acts with Odisha rules from a law book stores in your State.

The Maternity Benefit Act, Gratuity Act, and the ESI Act is one and the same for all states.
In Case of Minimum Wages, in Orissa State there may difference. Please ascertain from the
Labour Department and follow.
