How to Prepare a Training Needs Analysis Form

Please help me with this task. I am looking for guidance on how to effectively create a training needs analysis form. Any tips or resources would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
mirza
You need to sit with the department heads and prepare the TNA with the help of a Skills Matrix. The Skills Matrix should have the competencies that are required to perform a particular job. Once you have the Skills Matrix ready, you can sit with the department heads/line managers and assess the individuals on each competency.

Write to me at my email so that I can share with you the sample Skills Matrix Template which will help you in completing your task.

The above-mentioned is correct, but before that, please ensure the competence standard is aligned with the workers or peers. Some may be senior, while others may be qualified in their graduation. Therefore, only by considering this can you determine what they need and what they do not need.

A lot of people don't know the difference between TNA and TNI. You can have a TNI form, but I am wondering what a TNA form is. Once the needs are identified, we analyze them and use various TNA formats. We then publish a TNA report.

I hope there is not much difference between TNA and TNI since Training Need Analysis or Training Need Identification are both the same to plan a training calendar.

Thanks,

What you hoped is not very correct. I am a certified instructional designer and I have completed ISTD. I know for sure that TNI and TNA are part of the Analysis phase of ADDIE; however, they are sequential and TNI leads to TNA. Here are the differences for everyone's knowledge:

1. TNI is the first sub-step of the ADDIE; TNA is the second sub-step.
2. TNI is a process to identify business, job performance, training, or individual needs and the learning gaps in Knowledge, Skills, or Attitude pertaining to them; TNA is the process of analyzing the findings of the TNI.
3. TNI is more assessment-oriented; TNA is more research-oriented.

I am appending a TNA report. I hope this helps…

Regards.
