Th objective of labour legislations has at it's heart the labour and social welfare and to regulate the relations between the employer and employee and also to provide for a machinery for settlmeent of disputes, if any, between the employer an the employees in an expeditious, efficacious and inexpensive mannner. The P.F Act the ESI act, the Factories Act , the Contract labour Act ,the Inddustrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act and teh Industrial disputes Act are examples of this spirit.
