Most of the time when it comes to increment / promotion, its very difficult to recall the smaller / bigger activities, contributions, achievments etc done by HR directly or indirectly thus leads to labeled HR as non performer or not doing anything (day to day work it happens)
Here i am sharing my practice for your work enhancement, find attached format which has 31 excel sheets for each day. Any small job you do related to HR mention all activity for that day in sheet. e.g issued warning letters, arranged small party for dept or unit (employee engagement), counselled resigned employee and able to retain, done changes in MIS report, briefing on HR policy and procedure and so on....
These things looks very small and unattentive but when it comes to appraisal time we can highlight these things like recruitment, retention, engagement activity, statutory compliances, counselling, MIS generation to name a few.
