ESI Act Vs Maternity Benefit Act [Thread 390351]

does ESI act / maternity benefit act says:
If employee is covered under ESI Act he/she will not be entitled for maternity benefit except bonus and leave with full wages.
employee will get all benefits from ESI only or so
pls explain the above in details

Yes. The leave part and other medical facilities are of to the ESIC account. The leave part also going to be taken care by ESI no the company. The medical Bonus @2500/- need to be paid by the management. The employee has to submit those ESI certificates to the management with a request letter.
