I've joined in an manufacturing organization, this was an MNC based at chennai. After joining I came to know that I have been recruited instead of a person who met with an accident 2 months back & was hospitalized till now [ btw he was getting his treatment by corporate insurance scheme ]. The management was planning to quit him once he joined after his recovery. The reason given to me was - as he would not be active as before for next few months till his fitness returns, the company doesn't wants to waste its time for this & have recruited me.
I wonder as this may happen to anyone including me in this organization & the company will do the same thing even to me also if Iam hospitalized.
Also 2 of my colleagues were forced to resign & they were now at their notice period. They are just 4 months old in this company & the management have threaten them as they would terminate them as the mgmt was not happy with their performance.
Even here I have a question of how a new person with only 4 months old in this company can prove himself to be an expert & how the management can decide that they are not upto their expectation level.
As Iam new to this MNC culture, kindly advice me should I continue in this organisation? I hold another offer with comparatively less salary. Due to this difference I've joined here. ALso guide me if I quit within 1 week itself after joining, is there any legal issues to be faced by me or else can I continue in the same organization itself.
