Transitioning to a New Job Without a Payslip: How Should I Handle This Situation?

M Shetty
I worked for my family business for a year, and my salary was paid in cash. Now, I will be joining a software company where they have asked for a payslip. Since we were paid in cash, we did not receive any payslip. What should I do? Please help.

You can inform your entrepreneur that you are involved in the family business and receive your salary in cash. If this method does not meet his expectations, you could provide the same information on your official letterhead, showcasing your business details.

Hi, you can also provide your bank statement copy if you are receiving an official salary from your family business.

You will need to explain this to your new employer, but did you not use invoices for your business?

Do you think mentioning my work experience with the family business on my resume was a mistake? And do you think I might lose my job because I don't have enough proof to substantiate it? Kindly help.
