Hello Neha,

The best option is to enroll yourself for ISTD, i.e., Indian Society for Training and Development. This is the only recognized institute in India, and the passing percentage is 2-3%. It is situated in Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi, and it's an 18-month course where there are contact classes held in New Delhi. The advertisement usually comes out in September, and the faculty is from various knowledgeable verticals in the industry.

Abhishek has already provided the contact details. The fee is simply on the economical side. To the best of my knowledge, ISTD doesn't provide placements. Even if there is no placement in the normal course, if a student takes the help of his faculty, he would be able to get a good break.

To the best of my knowledge, one can apply for a diploma in Training & Development (T&D) from ISTD only after completing their post-graduation or graduation along with 2 years of work experience.

Hi, I'm Thiru from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. I'm a personnel officer in the HR department, with the past four years spent working in a private concern. I see your question, but I think you should refer to Annamalai University in Chennai and Kamarajar University in Madurai. I have completed my MHRM and Diploma in Labour Law at Annamalai University, so you should give it a try.

The above-mentioned courses are correspondence courses offered by universities in Tamil Nadu.

Hi Neha,

As far as ISTD is concerned, they require either a postgraduate degree or, if you are a graduate, then two years of work experience. If you have any of these qualifications, you must go for it.
