Understanding Maharashtra's New Special Allowance: What Does It Mean for You?

Please find attached herewith a copy of the Circular dated 03-02-2012 issued by the Office of the Commissioner of Labour, Mumbai. In the said Circular, the Special Allowance (Dearness Allowance) declared under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 for the period of 01-01-2012 to 30-06-2012.

It appears that the Pune District Security Guard Board has not yet updated their rates effective from July 2012. On the official website of the Board "http://punedistrictsecurityguardboard.in," the rates shown are effective from January 2012 onwards. The PDF of the same is attached herewith for your reference.
