Applicable Leaves - UP Shop & Establishment Act For Noida

I work for a new startup IT company in Noida, UP. I am in the process of finalizing the Leave Policy. Please advise on the applicable Privilege/Earned Leave, Casual Leave, and Sick Leave under the UP Shop and Establishment Act-UP.

Dear Priya,

As per the U.P. Shops and Establishments Act, the yearly entitlement is as given below:
- Privilege leave: 15 days
- Casual leave: 12 days
- Sick leave: 12 days

Thank you for your kind response. I would like to request advice on sick and casual leave policies. I recently came across the UP Shop & Establishment Act, which specifies 15 days of sick leave and 10 days of casual leave.

As a software development company, I believe we fall under the category of commercial establishments.
