Need Help Designing a Simple Daily Activity Report for My Remote Team?

amanda.hardie@medibank.com.au
Hi, I'm hoping somebody can help me. I'm needing to put together a daily activity report for my staff to use. They work out on the road a lot, so I don't see them; hence, this is why I'm needing this.

Report Requirements

Basically, what I'm needing on the report is:
- Activity for the day (e.g., corp, Kiosk, etc.)
- Leads call backs
- Competitor activity
- Disruptions to your day, reason
- Just a basic rundown of their day and what they got out of it, etc.

I just want it very basic because they have so much to do anyway.

Thanks

To create a basic daily activity report for your remote staff, you can follow these steps:

1. Activity for the Day: Ask your staff to specify the type of activity they engaged in during the day, such as corporate meetings, kiosk setups, etc.

2. Leads Call Backs: Inquire about any follow-up calls made to potential leads or clients. This helps track progress in customer interactions.

3. Competitor Activity: Encourage your staff to report on any noteworthy competitor activities they observed during the day. This information can be valuable for strategic planning.

4. Disruptions and Reasons: Have them note down any disruptions they faced and the reasons behind them. Understanding these challenges can help in providing necessary support or resources.

5. Daily Summary: Request a brief summary of their day, highlighting key takeaways or achievements. This provides insight into their productivity and accomplishments.

By implementing this straightforward reporting structure, you can effectively track your remote staff's activities and ensure transparency in their daily operations.
