How Can We Kickstart a Quarterly Company Newsletter? Urgent Help Needed!

It is urgent. Please help with starting a newsletter in our company. I am mostly interested in a quarterly basis.

Hope you are doing well. You can make a good start by receiving a small and comprehensive message from your director or a senior person from top management. After that, you can highlight any of the most significant meetings from your organization or recognize an employee who has been rewarded by a client. Ensure that their comments are also included on the same page.

In addition, you can include any specific articles you want to share regarding employee wellness or articles that boost morale. Highlight any training sessions that have been conducted on your premises or mention if any external trainers have been invited recently. You can also feature upcoming birthday parties or news of employees getting married within the organization.

Consider adding a small quiz section in the newsletter so that participants can be rewarded in the next publication. I hope this will serve your purpose. Make a nice newsletter.

A company newsletter is a form of employee engagement. So, invite volunteers from different departments, including people who are creative or artistic, to form a small editorial team. Invite suggestions for the naming of the newsletter.

Form small sections. You may even have a corner for uploading drawings, poems, etc., of employees' creations. One section should cover topics like Environment, philanthropy, health, and safety.

Stick to the electronic format. Preferably, there should be a section on the intranet so that everybody can access it from there; otherwise, emails will clog the server, and there is no point in having numerous similar emails in a company.

Dear Mr. Surya Rana,

The WWF Regional Programme, which is studying climate change impacts on freshwater ecosystems in the Himalayas (CCIFEH), has just launched the very first issue of its newsletter Climate Contours, Living with Change: Biodiversity, Communities, and Livelihoods.

This issue is devoted to describing the need for studying climate change impacts in today's world and its effects on our life-sustaining freshwater sources, which also form the backbone of this project. The newsletter sheds light on the six pilot sites of intervention across India and Nepal, describes their vulnerability in the face of climate change, and our efforts and initiatives to help develop existing and new adaptation strategies for communities, their livelihoods, and biodiversity in these areas. Scientific research is an integral wing of our program, and hence Climate Contours has devoted a special section to glacier research in India and Nepal.

We hope to use this medium to exchange information on the developments our diligent staff have made in each of these sites as well as voice issues raised by communities living in these areas.
