I am working in manufacturing co. as a sr. HR executive, I realy want to persue Online or Distance MBA from Mumbai.

Lectures are conducted every weeked.
On completion MBA degree is provided.
But no dual specilisation
Option for specialisation are only - Operations, HR, Finance and Marketing

Good to know that you are studying in IGNOU. Can you tell me if there are any compulsory classes for MBA in IGNOU ?

Yes there are cumpolsary classes every weekend i.e sunday 10.00am to 4.00 divided by 4 lectures including half an hour break and sometimes on saturday evenings but foir these we do not atten.
In one of the post of today, there is more broad discussion about the courses from IGNOU.I will get back to you with the post heading aftersome time.

Thanks for the info ... iam actually pursuing PGDHRM thro IGNOU-Dubai. I have an option of carrying over these 5 course credits if i want to continue MBA but the fee is too high here compared to India. Thats y i was thinking whether to pursue MBA from dubai or from India but if classes are compulsory, i will not be able to pursue from India. In dubai no compulsory classes.
Meanwhile i've also got admission in EXECUTIVE PROGRAM IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT in XLRI-Dubai (evening classes - Dec2010 batch) ... Thats y in bit of dilemma ....
....to join MBA(IGNOU) or pursue PGDHRM(IGNOU) + EPHRM(XLRI). . .

dear @kuldeep_maini NIBM is very much transparent about their views and mission. They have said about NIBM certification courses which is not AICTE or UGC approved. It is mainly intended for working professionals. NIBM certification is having warm acceptance in industries. NIBM also have affiliate courses with Bharathiar University which is AICTE,UGC and DEC approved.
