Setting Up an Assessment Center: Seeking Guidance on Process, Budget, and Team Requirements

sravani
Hi all,

I am an HR consultant working for Vnvision Holistic Management Consulting. We specialize in conducting training programs for corporates in the fields of Soft Skills, Leadership, and other development areas.

Recently, our company had plans to set up an Assessment Center. I have gone through a few of the contributions made by Cite HR members and have gained a clear idea about the theoretical part of it. However, I am still unclear about the following questions:
1. What is the approach/procedure in setting up an Assessment Center?
2. What could be the estimated budget for doing so?
3. Does this require any individuals with special backgrounds, knowledge, or experience, or simply unique competencies?
4. How many people need to be involved in setting up the center, or what could be the size of the manpower responsible for running the show?

Kindly respond to the questions mentioned and guide me further.

Thanks in advance.

Warm regards,
Sravani

Dear Mr. Sardhar,

Thanks for the information, but to be frank, I had referred to all this information and found that the focus is on the theory part (e.g., techniques, definitions, etc.). However, I am looking for setting up/starting an Assessment Center, which is entirely practical. I hope I am clear on what I need.

Awaiting your support.

Regards,
Sravani
