We are a new company and want to hire staff. How can we verify their employment? We want to do the verification ourselves.

Verification Process for New Employees

I want to know:

1. What are all the things we need to verify?
2. How can we verify those details? (Some of our candidates who are currently in India have worked in the USA & UK, so we need to verify out-of-country employment as well).

For more comprehensive feedback, you can obtain the contact details of the company where the candidate previously worked and gather more detailed performance and behavior feedback from the HR personnel, as they are responsible for performance appraisals.

Once you have conducted these verbal inquiries, you can follow up by sending them an email to document their responses or send a letter if preferred. This approach applies to companies in India or abroad.
