I run a Small & Medium Enterprise with an employee strength of 60. In today's dynamic era, many people tend to go for big brands or companies to work with. In such a situation, I would like to know what I should do to retain my good employees for the long term and how I can keep my entire team motivated. How can I increase a sense of belongingness in them? It's very crucial for me to know.

The best way to retain employees is through a family-oriented approach. In addition to competitive pay packages, you should also focus on welfare measures to ensure that employees are happy to work with you. Employee engagement is crucial; be attentive to their needs and offer support during critical times, such as the loss of a close relative. Assist them in securing seats in schools and colleges by establishing partnerships with educational institutions. Visit employees' residences and involve their families in organizational development initiatives.

Organize family-oriented events like family days and celebrations. Arrange competitions for employees’ spouses and children to foster a sense of community. Implementing these strategies may yield positive outcomes.
