Sales Tour Dilemma: Can a Non-Confirmed Employee Claim Weekly Offs Later?

krishan4596
I need your help with the following condition. If a salesperson is on a tour for a period of 30 days, during which he is entitled to take his weekly day off. He is not a confirmed employee. On the tour, he worked for all 30 days, including Sundays as well.

Queries Regarding Weekly Day Off and Compensation

Here are my queries:
1. Is he entitled to take his weekly day off in any other month after returning from the tour?
2. Will the company pay him for working on Sundays, or should his weekly day off be carried forward?
3. Or both?

Thank you.

Yes, he is entitled to compensatory off for 4 Sundays. I hope he will also be eligible for travel expenses and food/accommodation expenses covered by the company. Please grant him 4 compensatory offs.

If you are paying for 26 days, you must compensate him for 30 days, which can be in the form of 4 days of paid leave/compensatory off. Alternatively, if you are paying for 30 days, just provide compensatory off. In case of any national festival holiday, you should pay one extra day's salary/compensatory off for that festival day.

Thank you.
