dipil
I want to impart classroom training on Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment to contract workmen. Can anyone provide simple pictorial explanations to help them understand the following terms:

1. Hazard
2. Risk
3. Hierarchy of Control Measures in a Single Job as an Example
- 1. Elimination
- 2. Substitution
- 3. Engineering Control
- 4. Administrative Control
- 5. Personal Protective Equipment

I hope my requirement is clear to all, and I am expecting to receive great inputs. Thanks in advance.

You may use this screensaver as an example in your training for a clear understanding of the contract workmen.

Here you go; I got some presentations from the web. I hope they will serve your purpose. I have 3 more presentations, but due to file size/format issues, I couldn't upload them. I will compress the size and upload them again. Keep on sharing.

Attached is the balance HIRA-related PPT for your use. I have one more HIRA PPT left with me. Due to file format issues, it is not supported and shows an error while uploading. I will share it by email.

Thanks,
Keep in touch.

Maybe these slides can be a good start for training contractors. Ask them to identify the hazards and assess the risks. Then, discuss the different types of controls that can be used to manage those risks.
