Dear All, We have contractors working with us who are defaulters in the ESIC payments, i.e., the late submission of ESIC challans. They always have an excuse that there is a delay in payments because of banks or the ESIC website. As a principal employer, when we have strictly addressed these issues with these vendors, they came up with an idea to submit separate challans for ESIC for the employees working on our premises.
Doubt Regarding ESIC Challans
I have a doubt in my mind about whether there is such a provision in the ESIC Act that an employer can submit two challans for the same month, or if it will be possible to submit the ESIC in two installments for employees. I would appreciate your views.
