I am new to this forum, and I find it really interesting. Could anyone please explain the applicability of SSN in PF? What is the employer's role when a new employee joins and presents their SSN card from a previous employment? Is the employer required to issue a new PF account number? How do employees apply for PF transfer? Do separated employees also need to fill out forms to claim their PF? Are there any guidelines or literature available for employers regarding SSN? I have limited information at the moment. Please share if you have more information. Your reply would be appreciated.
