Exploring Modern Recruitment Strategies Beyond Traditional Methods

Deepmahe
Hi Friends,

I am a routine user of this site and I usually go through the postings which are very useful. Presently, I am working as an HR Generalist. Please guide me with recruitment methods apart from portals, references, consultancies, job fairs, bulk SMS, bulk mail, and postings because I have been using all these methods to date. Also, guide me on creative sources of recruitment. I hope to receive a good response.

Regards, Deepa

Hi Deepa,

Have you tried taking references from candidates who come for interviews through magic questions? In fact, you can get loads of references through this. Discuss this with your business managers and ask them to practice it with every candidate they meet. I am sure they will be able to get good numbers.

Apart from this, you may do the headhunting, interact with people from networking sites, and share your requirements, etc.

Hope this will help you.

Thanks,
Mirza

Also, you can contact district employment exchanges for databases. Additionally, you can obtain databases of ex-students from graduation and post-graduation colleges, universities, and evening colleges if you are looking to hire freshers.

Post the job on LinkedIn. Register with naukrinews.com. By doing so, you will consistently receive resumes in your email.

Many recruiters tend to overlook old databases and resumes. The resumes collected over the past six months or a year can be highly beneficial. It is essential to dedicate time to review such resumes. Applicants might have been rejected, put on hold, or not continued to further rounds for various reasons. Over time, we archive and forget about these CVs. Approximately 3 to 4 percent of recruits can be found from this pool.

Mahesh
