Dear Seniors, Your valuable suggestions are needed once again.
In my company, they do not celebrate anything, whether it's an employee's birthday, any festivals, or any fortnightly meeting get-togethers. Since I have newly joined as an HR/Admin here, I want to write an email to my director suggesting birthday and festival celebrations, as well as office decorations on occasions like Christmas, Diwali, Dussehra, etc. I believe it can motivate and bring pleasure to our employees.
Approaching the Director for Celebrations
Please suggest how I should approach him in a gentle manner so that he considers the idea and we can initiate it. I do not wish for grand celebrations, but at least on birthdays, we can give them a bouquet with wishes, and for festivals, a small decoration with a greeting email.
I would appreciate your suggestions and a draft for the email. Awaiting your response.
