Trupsshah
Hi there,
For sales executive you should first decide the % for fixed and Variable salary.
Person's fixed salary needs to be divided in Below heads
Basic
HRA
Conveyance
Other Allowance ect.
you need to mention very clearly the terms for getting there variable pays.
Like if your company is planning to pay variable amount yearly or quaterly or Half yearly.

Thanks,
Suppose we have Salary criteria for Sales Executive in our company which is fixed between 5K to 7K. Apart from this we provide Rs. 300 for mobile. if a sales executive on tour we provide him Rs. 250 per day for food and lodging. In a day a sales executive has to visit atleast 1 college and meets with HOD of department including Principal and librarian and atleast 1 book seller also. for the visit of 1 college we provide him Rs. 100 per college for travelling. what will be the salary breakup for it? what will be the fixed and variable pay and CTC for the company.
Thanks in advance

Dear Krishan
I hope you have not forgotten Finance Module covered during your MBA. Has the salary that is fixed not categoried as Basic and HRA? If you are giving a mobile allowance irrespective of its usage you can classify that as fixed.
As the food and lodging allowance depends upon whether the sales executive is on tour or not, it will be variable. Same goes for any payment that depends upon what the executive does.
However, for CTC regulations please refer to some Govt documents.
Have a nice day.
